The 4th of July is right around the corner and we have found plenty of opportunities to celebrate! Whether you are looking for parades, fireworks, old-fashioned fun or more, we have included something for everyone!*

4th of July Parades

 

Allegan

Date: 7/3/15

Time: 5:30 p.m.

This parade travels through downtown Allegan, beginning at the corner of Water and Cutler Streets. Following the parade there will be music, food, and activities before the fireworks display at dusk! Click here for more information.

 

Richland

Date: 7/4/15

Time: 11:00 a.m.

This parade starts downtown on M-89 near the Middle School and concludes at Gracespring Bible Church on Gull Road. Head over to the park afterwards for the Gull Lake Area Lions Club Chicken BBQ Fundraiser!

 

Saugatuck

Date: 7/4/15

Time: 2:00 p.m.

This parade starts on Culver and then travels through downtown on Butler. There are many activities going on July 4th including live music in Wicks Park, the Waterfront Invitational art fair, fireworks and much more! Click here for more information.

Schoolcraft

Date: 7/4/15

Time: 11:00 a.m.

This parade starts on Eliza at the railroad tracks and finished up at the corner of Clay and 14th. After the parade stay for a fun-filled day of activities for all ages and a fireworks display at dusk. Click here for more information.

 

South Haven

Date: 7/4/15

Time: 11:00 a.m.

This parade travels through downtown South Haven. This is an annual parade with marching bands, pageant winners, patriotic floats, fire trucks and lots of candy! Click here for more information.

 

Decatur

Date: 7/4/15

Time: 11:00 a.m.

This parade starts at Mills and Delaware streets and ends at the VFW.

 

Dorr

Date: 7/4/15

Time: 10:30 a.m.

View the parade on 18th Street and 142nd Ave., continuing past the parks. After the parade visit Dorr’s South Park for carnival rides, food vendors, and more! Fireworks conclude the day’s events! Click here for more information.

Date: 7/3/15

Time: Approximately 10:30 p.m.

Location: On the Lakefront, South Haven, MI

Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show & Festival Fireworks

Date: 7/3/15

Time: Dusk

Location:  W.K. Kellogg Airport 15551 S Airport Rd, Battle Creek, MI

Kalamazoo Speedway

 

Pre – 4th of July Racin’ Party at the Zoo

Date: 7/3/15, smaller fireworks show

Time: Fireworks are at dusk. Gates open at 4:00 p.m., racing starts at 7:00 p.m.

Location: Kalamazoo Speedway 7656 Ravine Rd., Kalamazoo, MI

FWD Enduro Race #2- Stars & Stripes 200 Enduro 

Date: 7/4/15, big fireworks show

Time: Fireworks are at dusk. Gates open at 4:00 p.m., racing starts at 7:30 p.m.

Location: Kalamazoo Speedway 7656 Ravine Rd., Kalamazoo, MI

There will be Enduro races and also Vores Compacts!  “See the Zoo’s Biggest Fireworks Extravaganza Ever!”

Time: The baseball game begins at 7:35 p.m., fireworks follow the game at approximately 10:00 p.m.

More 4th of July Fun

 

Historic Charlton Park

33rd Annual 4th of July and Veterans Bar-B-Que is July 4, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. –5:00 p.m.

This is a free event! All are invited to bring a homemade pie to be judged by a panel of experts. Pies will be auctioned off to help keep this event FREE to the public!

12:00 p.m.: Flag Raising Ceremony and Salute to Veterans
12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Complete Pork Bar-B-Que Buffet, hosted by the Veterans Association, $8 for adults and $5 for children
1 p.m.: Old-fashioned games, races, contests, pie judging and pie auction!
