Bring your family for an entire day of Holiday Cheer!
The Saugatuck-Douglas Area Business Association (SDABA) and the Saugatuck-Douglas Convention Visitors Bureau (CVB) have joined together to present this Holiday season’s Annual Christmas Parade, Santa’s Workshop & Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 2 in Downtown Saugatuck!
The Annual Christmas Parade will begin at 1pm and proceed down Butler Street. There will be bands, floats, performing groups, and a cast of characters. Everyone is invited to participate!
A North Pole rumor, that has made it all the way to Saugatuck, indicates that Santa will be making a special appearance!
After the parade, families can enjoy the return of Santa’s Workshop (11 a.m. – 4:00pm) at The Annex (Coral Gables) on Water Street.
There will be photo opportunities with Santa plus kids craft projects, tree decorating, music, refreshments and more!

Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5pm
Shopping All Day!
After Santa’s Workshop, at 5pm head over to The Childrens’ Play Ground at Village Square (corner of Butler and Main Streets) for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
featuring free hot chocolate and cookies provided by Mill Pond Realty, caroling, and a countdown to light the holiday tree!
Visit local shops and restaurants and enjoy the holiday spirit!
TRADITIONAL CANDY CANE GAME
All day at participating shops – Game sheets can be picked up at the Coral Gables Annex, or at participating merchants. Game players can look for the Candy Cane and letter attached, finding all the letters to create a popular Christmas Phrase. Winning entries will be entered in a drawing to win $150.00 in SDABA Bucks!*
*SDABA bucks are as good as cash at all SDABA Businesses.
