Art Detectives for kids and their adults Read a story together, look at art in the galleries, and have fun making art! First Saturdays (September through June), 11-12:30 in the library. Free.
Presented by the Meader Fine Art Library and the Museum Education Department, Art Detectives meets on the second Saturday of each month from September through May. The program teaches children 4-8 (with an adult) how to look at and appreciate art through storytelling, guided looking, and art-making. We explore traveling exhibitions on view in the museum, along with some of the artworks from our permanent collection (of more than 4,000 objects!). Admission is free.
