359 S Kalamazoo Mall, Second Floor
The holiday fun continues in downtown Kalamazoo! Beginning Saturday, November 25th, kids – grab mom and dad, grandma and grandpa or an aunt or uncle to take you to downtown Kalamazoo to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at their newly renovated downtown Kalamazoo workshop, located on the second floor of the Epic Center, formerly Jacobson’s Department Store, located at 359 South Kalamazoo Mall. Santa’s Workshop, presented by The Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, is a magical place filled with little-animated elves, twinkling lights, and a Jolly Old Soul!
Downtown Kalamazoo has a long tradition of creating the best holiday memories with Santa and this year is no exception! Experience the excitement of visiting Santa in a traditional, fun, cozy space without the long lines. Before visiting with Santa, children can write a letter to Santa (so he can remember all the details on “the list”), decorate cookies (Saturdays from 11 a.m to 2 p.m.), and new this season, Santa wants us to give the gift of reading; the first one thousand children to visit Santa will receive a FREE book to take home to read on cold winter nights! We can all agree that nothing compares to time with family, family traditions, and memories made visiting Santa.
Families can visit with Santa November 25 through December 24, Thursdays and Fridays, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Mrs. Claus will be with Santa on Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and Sundays, noon to 4 p.m. Santa Workshop hours can be located at downtownkalamazoo.org.
