Great Fall Donut and Cider Spots in SW Michigan

If your family is anything like mine, fall is not complete without a trip to an apple orchard for some delicious donuts and fresh apple cider. There are several places around Kalamazoo that will allow any donut and cider lover to satisfy that fall craving. And, while you are there, stay to take advantage of all the activities that these fabulous places have to offer (some for an additional fee).

Cotant’s Farm Market – Hastings

Donuts – 65¢ each for cinnamon sugar, 75¢ each for frosted with sprinkles.

More varieties of donuts may be available on weekends throughout the season.

Cider – Available cold and hot.

Cold cider can be purchased by the gallon ($5.50) and ½ gallon ($3.25).

More to do at Cotant’s Farm Market – There is a pumpkin patch, giant corn maze, u-pick apples, and other fun indoor fall activities!

 

Corey Lake Orchards – Three Rivers

Donuts – 50¢ each and come in buttermilk, pumpkin and apple cider varieties on

Friday, Saturday and Sunday only.

Cider – Available cold and slush.

Cold cider can be purchased by the gallon ($6.00), ½ gallon ($3.50) and quart

($2.00).

More to do at Corey Lake Orchards – Bring the family for corn mazes, a playground area for the kids, and u-pick apples, grapes, and pumpkins!

Crane’s Pie Pantry – Fennville

Donuts – 75¢ and come in an apple cider flavor.

Cider – Available cold and hot.

Cold cider can be purchased by the gallon ($7.00) and ½ gallon ($4.00).

More to do at Crane Orchards – Come for apple picking, a corn maze, hayrides and more!

 

Gull Meadow Farms – Richland

Donuts – 75¢ each and come in plain, apple and pumpkin varieties, with toppings

available for each.

Cider – Available cold, hot and slush. Hot cider is only available in cooler weather.

Cold cider can be purchased by the gallon ($7.50) and ½ gallon ($4.00).

More to do at Gull Meadow Farms – There will be apple picking, wagon rides, a petting farm, corn maze, and so many more family activities!

Harvest Moon Acres – Gobles

Donuts – $1 each and come plain, with cinnamon sugar, or iced.

Cider – Available cold and hot.

Cold cider can be purchased by the gallon ($8.00).

Husted’s Farm Market & Cider Mill – Kalamazoo

Donuts – 75¢ each and come in several varieties.

Cider – Available cold, hot and slush. Hot cider is only available in cooler weather.

Donuts – 99¢ each and come in an apple cider flavor.

Cider – Available cold and hot. Hot cider is available on weekends in cooler weather.

Schultz Fruitridge Farms – Mattawan

Donuts – 75¢ each and come in apple cinnamon and pumpkin varieties. Pumpkin

flavor is available certain days only.

Cider – Available cold.

Cold cider can be purchased by the gallon ($6.50) and ½ gallon ($3.50).

More to do at Schultz Fruitridge Farms – They offer delicious, seasonal fruits and vegetables, U-Pick orchards and a pre-picked market.

 

Stokes Homestead Farm Market – Grand Junction

Donuts – 79¢ each and come in several varieties. Apple crisp and pumpkin spice

flavors begin in October.

Cider – Available cold, hot, and slush. Hot and slush cider will begin mid-September.

Cold cider can be purchased by the gallon ($7.99).

More to do at Stokes Homestead – There will be cow-train rides, a tire climb, a pedal kart track, a nature trail and more!

 

VerHages Fruit Farm & Cider Mill – Kalamazoo

Donuts – $1 each and come in a variety of flavors.

Cider – Available cold, hot and slush. Hot and slush cider is only available on weekends.

Cold cider can be purchased by the gallon ($7.00) gallon and ½ gallon ($5.00).
