Kingdom Sports Summer Camps

Kingdom Sports Camps are committed to providing a safe, fun, and skill-focused experience for athletes ages 2 -17. Under the expert care of our camp coaches, kids not only learn individual, sport-oriented skills, but they also develop personally and socially, learning teamwork and building character and life skills through sports. Camps are offered June through August.

Co-Ed, non-profit residential summer camp with over 100 acres of property along Great Bear Lake. Partial week, one week and two week session offerings. Camp Kzoo

Camp Kzoo is a 9 week summer camp running 9:00 am to 5:00 pm five days a week for youth who have completed Kindergarten thru 12 years old. Early morning drop off (7:30 am) at the Mayors’ Riverfront Park site will be offered this summer. Our camp exposes young people to variety of fun activities while allowing for kids to interact and socialize with fellow campers. 4-H Camp Kidwell

Would you enjoy riding horses, swimming, jumping on a water trampoline, doing crafts, shooting bows and arrows? How about climbing a 40 ft rockwall, or maybe overnight tent camping in the wilderness? What about making decisions for yourself? Make new friends? Gain a sense of responsibility? Try all of this things and more at 4-H Camp Kidwell An American Camp Association (ACA) accredited and state of Michigan licensed camping program and facility set on 150 beautiful acres on Eagle Lake in Bloomingdale, Michigan.

Children ages 4-16 can participate in overnight, specialty, and day camp programs. Sessions are a week long and offer children the opportunity to enjoy unique, fun and memorable activities that help them learn, grow and explore the world around them. The Civic Academy of Theatre Arts

We will be offering two exciting camps this summer. “World of Words” will provide an opportunity for students to get their creative writing and performance skills going as they create a one-of-a-kind world premiere theatre piece in this week long camp. “And the Winner Is…” will explore the many different musicals awarded Broadway’s top honor, the Tony Award. Campers will learn acting, singing and dance techniques as they rehearse an original musical revue in this two week camp.

Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Summer Camp

Nowhere else in Kalamazoo will you find more fun and creativity this summer than at KIA art classes and camps for kids 4-17. Eight-week classes start June 11 in drawing, ceramics, painting, and photography, and week-long summer camps begin June 13, available in half days for pre-K through 5th grade, and full days for grades 1-12.

For the teens, there are two sessions of Teen Filmmaking camp (10 am – 2:30 pm) starting June 27 and July 25. Those with an engineering mind (ages 9-12) will want to join Toy & Model Design Camp, July 11-15, 3-5:30, which introduces students to computer design for the 3-D printer.

Ages 11-16 can enjoy a range of media in Mixed Media Art Camp, running 9 am – 4 pm the weeks of July 11 and August 1. Kids in grades 1-5 have the most choice, with 5-day camps (half or full day) running from June 13 through August 4.
