Play

Head to the Sandcastles Children’s Museum with interactive exhibits, including a real four-passenger plane, a radio control tower, and rock-climbing wall. My 6-year old son loved the real passenger plan and the control tower. We spent most of our time in this area, but there is plenty to do and explore including a replica of the SS Badger. They just added a third floor this year and have a lot of things to keep the kiddos busy on a rainy day. Admission is just $5 per person. What a deal!

The Waterfront Park is a must visit when you are in Ludington. The playground is great and there is something for every age group. The beautiful location, sculptures, and walking paths, all make this our favorite place to play in the area. Plus, there’s a pavilion, restrooms, and picnic tables which make this park a perfect place for an outdoor picnic. It’s also the perfect place to watch the SS Badger come in or to take a picnic and enjoy the beauty of this park.

Did we miss any of your favorite things to do while in Ludington? Let us know! We’re always looking for new ideas for our next visit.
