“Abracadabra with Alan Kazam!”
I don’t know who had more fun at Alan Kazam’s Magic Class at the Teachers Center last week. Me or my kiddo? My son loved the magic show and learning magic. I loved watching all of the kids have such a great time.
We went to the March 30th magic class at the Teachers Center. The time allotted for the magic class was one and a half hours. I wondered how an entertainer was going to keep the kids entertained that long, but that was not a problem. The magic class was broken into two parts: a magic show and the magic class itself.
All of the kids seemed to be having a great time at the magic show. Alan Kazam had a real knack for engaging the kids and getting them involved in the show. I think every child had a chance to volunteer to be a helper on a magic trick.
The part that my son loved about the magic class was that he got to take home a number of magic tricks. Each child left with 4-5 magic tricks that they could do at home. (My son tried all of his new magic tricks on his dad later).
How To Catch An Upcoming Class?
The next “Abracadabra with Alan Kazam!” class is scheduled for Sunday, April 27th from1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the Teachers Center in Portage. Alan said that they are going to have monthly classes. Watch our KZOOkids event calendar for more shows to be scheduled.
The cost is $10 per child.
What Is A Good Age?
Most of the participants for the magic class that we attended seemed to be boys between the ages of 4-8 years old. In general, the show is best for kids 5 to 12 years old.
