The following are Memorial Day Parades that are happening in our communities around Kalamazoo. To our veterans and service personnel, thank you for all that you have done for our country and continue to do.

Please note that these parades are coordinates by individuals, local VFW’s and community organizations. Weather and/or other extenuating circumstances may result in changes to details such as routes or participants.

This parade starts at the Griswold Memorial Auditorium and finishes up at the Oakwood Cemetery.

This parade travels through downtown.

This parade starts at the high school and ends at the village park for a ceremony.

This parade starts on N. State St. And ends at the Gobles downtown park where a ceremony will be held.

Hickory Corners
5/26/14, 10 am
This parade starts at Cadwallader Park and finishes up at the Hickory Corners Cemetery for a benediction.  A chicken bbq follows at the American Legion.

This parade starts on Michigan Avenue and finishes up at Riverside Cemetery on Gull Road.

Mattawan

This parade starts at the Mattawan Early Elementary School, travels up Scott Street, to Front Avenue and concludes at the village park for a ceremony.


Otsego

This parade starts at the cemetery just North of Otsego and then travels South towards Dix Street where a memorial will be held at Dix Street and Farmer.

The Saugatuck parade travels from Culver to Butler and the Douglas parade travels right through downtown.

This parade starts at Cass and Cedar Streets and concludes at the Schoolcraft Cemetery for a ceremony.

This parade starts downtown and travels to the Lake View Cemetery with a special ceremony hosted by them American Legion.

Fort Custer National Cemetery will be hosting it’s annual Memorial Day service, honoring those who have laid down their lives for our freedoms.
