The Portage District Library and the Portage Senior Center are partnering to bring you “What’s Cooking in Portage,” a first-time event on September 9 dedicated to the best foodie tips and tastes our community offers. There will be 17 different sessions about cooking, wine and cheese tasting, brewing, and more!
Featuring presentations from representatives of the following vendors: Latitude 42, The Cheese Lady, Youz Guys Sausage, Free Love Bakery, ChocolaTea, Hardings, The Fresh Food Fairy, The Cake N Candy lady, and more
The day will culminate with a special “Progressive Dinner” hosted at the Portage Senior Center, which will feature a variety of small bites and beverages from the presenters, restaurants, and vendors that joined us throughout the day. Cash bar available during the event. This event is open to the public, and tickets are $20 per person. Tickets can be ordered here through Eventbrite at: http://bit.ly/ProDinnerPortage.
“I am really looking forward to spending a fall Saturday nourishing my inner foodie!” said Nicolette Sosulski, Adult Services Librarian. “It’s going to be a day lled with scrumptious nibbles, cooking tips, and nutrition information from experts, right in our back yard!”
