Crybaby Concert

Saturday, July 26 at 11 am at the Epic Theatre in downtown Kalamazoo.

  • Join us at the Epic Theatre for a Jazz Jamboree with the Hot Club of Detroit. Crybaby Concerts are FREE 45-minute mini-concerts that give children under the age of five and their parents, grandparents and siblings a performance of beautiful music in an open and flexible environment – even if your little ones feel like crying!
  • There is room to move and plenty of space for stroller parking. Nutritious, kid-friendly snacks are provided after each performance.

Stokes Farm Annual Blueberry Bash

Saturday, July 26 from 11:00 am-5:00 pm at the Stokes Farm in Grand Junction. 

  • The Festival kicks off at 11:00am and runs until 5:00pm. Activities include: Face Painting, Bounce House, Gem Mining, Wagon Rides (Leaves at the top of every hour,) Corn Crib, Playground, Tire Climb, Fishing Wall, and much more!

Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man”

Friday and Saturday, July 25 and July 26 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, July 27 at 3:00 pm at the Paw Paw Village Players in Paw Paw.

  • The Paw Paw Village Players are celebrating their 45th season this summer with a revival of Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man“.
  • “The Music Man” was the first full Broadway show produced by The Paw Paw Village Players. Founding members, Mary Burkett and her late husband Charley played Marian Paroo and Harold Hill in the 1970 production. Even though the show debuted in the early 1960’s, the story line reflects many facets of life today – scam artists, small town politics, first loves, patriotism, fostering the morality of our youth, and recognizing trouble when it comes to town.

There is the Taste of Kalamazoo in Kalamazoo. the Black Arts Festival in Kalamazoo, the Lion’s Club Summer Festival in Vicksburg, or the Leilapalooza 2014 Music Festival in Battle Creek are all fun things to do and close to Kalamazoo.
