Happy Fall! Yes, September brings a whole new batch of festivals, fairs, and activities around Kalamazoo and SW Michigan that your family will LOVE! This is one of our favorite seasons of the year. So grab the calendar and pencil in a great fall festival..or two or three!

33rd Annual Antique Engine & Tractor Show | September 8-11. Activities include: exhibits, parades, games, crafts, a huge flea market, and more. Michigan Flywheelers Museum, 06285 68th Street, South Haven.
37th Annual Wine & Harvest Festival | September 9-11. There’s something for everyone at this year’s Wine & Harvest Festival in downtown Paw Paw. Activities include: arts & crafts show, bike tour, grape stomp, parade, entertainment, carnival rides, wine & beer tasting, and more! Downtown Paw Paw.
Allegan County Fair | September 9-17. Join the fun at the Allegan County Fair for rides, food, superstar entertainment, 4-H exhibits, and more! 150 Douglas St, Allegan, MI.
Kalamazoo Balloon Festival | September 16-18. Activities include: Nighttime Balloon Glows on the September 16th & 17th, entertainment on the stage, and a car show. Gull Meadow Farms, 8544 Gull Rd, Richland.
Geek Fest | September 17. Activities include: gaming, cosplay, crafts, robotics, artists, authors and more. Antwerp Activity Center, 24821 Front St, Mattawan.
Bangor Apple Festival | September 17. Activities include: kid’s activities (FREE movie and popcorn), various vendors, motorcycle show, food, live entertainment, and more. Downtown Bangor, 257 West Monroe Street, Bangor.
Applefest & Craft Show| September 16-18. Located in Downtown Coldwater, this festival attracts thousands of spectators each year. Activities include: food trucks, apple pie eating contest, kids activities, music, craft show, and more. Downtown Coldwater, Chicago Street, Coldwater.
Tillers International Harvest Fest 2016 | September 18. This event emphasizes local food, small local farmers, and draft animal power and other sustainable agricultural techniques. Tillers International, 10515 East OP Avenue, Scotts.
Grand Rapids Art Prize | September 21- October 9. You won’t want to miss this world class FREE art show in Grand Rapids. Tons of art to view around Grand Rapids. One of the biggest art contents in the country. Stay tuned for our family-friendly Art Prize Guide coming out later this month. Various locations throughout greater Grand Rapids.
Fall Festival in St. Joseph | September 23-24. Join the fun in St. Joseph for their fall festival. Activities include: The Great Bed Race, Day on the Farm, farmers market, petting zoo, live music, art auction, and more. Downtown St. Joseph.
Apple Fest! 2016 | September 24. Activities include arts, crafts & vendor show and entertainment. VerHage Fruit Farm & Cider Mill, 8619 W ML, Kalamazoo.
Fall Harvest and Tractor Show | September 23-25. Step back in time with a visit to Historic Chartlon Park’s special event. Activities include experiencing first-hand the fall harvest techniques and activities from the early-to-mid 1900s. Historic Charlton Park, 2545 S Charlton Park Rd, Hastings.
Scarecrows & Pumpkins | September 24. Make your very own scarecrow and take home a pumpkin as you will learn about the fall harvest! This is also a FREE DAY at Kingman Museum. Leila Arboretum, 928 West Michigan Avenue, Battle Creek.
Harvest Fest | September 25. Activities include include hay rides, Model A car rides, vendors, food booths, storytelling, a scavenger hunt, saw mill demonstration, petting zoo and more. Vicksburg Historical Village, 300 North Richardson, Vicksburg.
DeLano Farms Fall Fest | September 25. Explore the homestead, witness blacksmiths in action, experience pioneer activities, take a horse drawn wagon ride (weather permitting), games and activities for the whole family. New this year…browse and shop creative artisan booths with products that stand the test of time. DeLano Farms, 555 West E Ave., Kalamazoo.
Olde Tyme Harvest Festival | October 1 & 2. Activities Include: hayrides to the pumpkin patch, pumpkins, husker shredder, antique tractors, blacksmithing, and more! Scotts Mill County Park, 8451 S. 35th, Scotts.
Fennville Goose Festival | October 7-9. This festival includes a parade, car show, live music, carnival, 5k run, fireworks, and more! Downtown Fennville.
Mattawan Pumpkin Trail | October 15. (More info coming soon!) Downtown Mattawan.
Stokes Homestead Fall Festival | October 15 & 16. Activities include arts & crafts fair, pumpkin bowling, cow trains, kids corn maze, paint your own pumpkin, wagon rides, and more! Stokes Homestead Farm Market,13988 County Road 215, Grand Junction.
Annual Arts & Eats Tour | October 15 & 16. Hop in the car and explore. Visit with local artisans in their studios, see working farms featuring specialty food crops, fiber, and heritage animals. Various locations throughout SW Michigan.
Haven Harvest Fest 2016 | October 21-23. Activities include zombie 5k and stroll,
hayrides, live bands & dancing, cider and beer tent, halloween costume contest, pie baking contests, kids activities, and more. Downtown South Haven.
Fall Migration Celebration | November 6. Practice waterfowl ID along the lakeshore, participate in games and activities along the trail, and warm up with cider at the end of your walk. W.K.Kellogg Bird Sanctuary, 12685 East C Ave., Augusta.
