AppleTree & Gilden Woods Offers Age-Specific Care
I recently returned to work, after being on maternity leave for the past three months. As working parents my husband and I are often asked how we choose our childcare center. While the answer may seem simple, a lot of time and effort is put into selecting a childcare facility. Especially once you have more than one child.
Once I became pregnant with my third child, my husband and I had to decide on a childcare facility that would provide the care and education that all three of our children would need at their different ages.
At first, I was hesitant about separating my kids into different classrooms – I wanted them to be together. They had always been together at the in-home childcare we used. After a tour with AppleTree & Gilden Woods, I quickly realized that in separate classes they had an opportunity to actively participate in planned educational activities catered to their own skill levels and interests.
This is an opportunity that AppleTree & Gilden Woods Early Care and Preschool could provide for your children.
Caring About the Community
AppleTree & Gilden Woods wants to help every single child learn today and grow to lead tomorrow. They are all about community. Building into our schools a support system for families. Providing support to families through ongoing assessments reflecting on growth and developing milestones. Families will see how each child builds on their social skills and help is offered to express themselves in acceptable ways.
Through emotions, your children will learn to recognize and accept behaviors in order to take responsibility for oneself. Through hands-on experience, families will see cognitive and critical thinking skills develop, along with language and literacy.
Physical development is just as important as mental development. There are a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to also help with growth in physical development. Each and every child will be given support to reach their full potential.

When scheduling a tour please bring your children, but I am giving you a fair warning: they will not want to leave! My daughter cried because in the hour we were there, she made new friends and wanted to join all the group activities! As a working parent, that has to be one of the best feelings – knowing that your child is happy and comfortable where you are leaving them.
