AppleTree & Gilden Woods Offers Age-Specific Care
I recently returned to work, after being on maternity leave for the past three months. As working parents, my husband and I are often asked how we chose our childcare center. While the answer may seem simple, a lot of time and effort is put into selecting a childcare facility. Here’s what played into how we choose AppleTree & Gilden Woods.
Once I became pregnant with my third child, my husband and I had to decide on a childcare facility that would provide the care and education that all three of our children would need at their different ages.
At first, I was hesitant about separating my kids into different classrooms – I wanted them to be together. They had always been together at the in-home childcare we used.
After a tour with AppleTree & Gilden Woods, I quickly realized that in separate classes they had an opportunity to actively participate in planned educational activities that are developmentally appropriate.
AppleTree & Gilden Woods + Highest Standards In Early Learning Education For Your Child
AppleTree & Gilden Woods’ mission is to provide the highest quality educational programming in a safe, nurturing, child-centered environment that earns the trust of the children and families they serve.
They are all about community. Building into their schools a support system for families. Providing support to families through ongoing assessments reflecting on growth and developing milestones. Families will see how each child builds on their social skills and are supported as they learn to express themselves in acceptable ways.
Through hands-on experience, families will see cognitive and critical thinking skills develop, along with language and literacy and social-emotional skills.
Physical development is just as important as mental development. From outdoor play to indoor fun-n-fit activities each child is given support and encouragement to learn and grow in a safe, nurturing environment.
