Plan Outdoor Family Time this Summer

Do the whispering hisses and sizzling pop and crackling sounds of a campfire brings back vivid memories from your childhood?

Growing up, camping trips were a part of every summer. My parents had an old 1969, pop-up camper that we took to different campgrounds around Michigan. While it wasn’t glamorous, we always made the most of each location and enjoyed those trips as much as any other vacation.

Climbing the sand dunes, starting campfires, finding the perfect walking stick and swimming in Lake Michigan are some of my favorite childhood memories.

I can’t wait to begin the tradition with my children.
