Our Recent Visit
My son and I went to Catch Air in Grand Rapids on a Wednesday afternoon. We have been to Catch Air on several occasions since the location first open in March 2014. We tend to go to Grand Rapids quite a bit to run errands or to visit friends. Many times we factor in enough time to allow my seven-year-old son some extra playtime.
One of my son’s favorite parts of Catch Air is the HUGE climbing structure. There’s plenty of room for the kiddos to climb, explore, shoot from the air cannon, slide down the super fast slides and more!
In addition to the enclosed climbing structures, there are a few bounce inflatables. Another hit with my son is the merry-go-round that is a challenge to jump on and take for a ride.
Tiny Town Area
There is a special designated area for kiddos under 48 inches. While my son hasn’t played in here, I know that it’s super popular with the younger kiddos.
Tips from a Parent
- We’ve noticed from our visits to Catch Air, that the afternoon tends to be less busy.
- Make sure that you bring your own socks.
- Snacks are available for purchase. No outside food or drinks are allowed.
- If you don’t plan on playing with your child, bring something to do. There is plenty of room to stretch out and even some work tables.
