Presented by the Gilmore Car Museum and the Barry County Chamber of Commerce, the 2nd Annual Barry County Festival of Trees at the Gilmore Car Museum is on display November 15th – December 31st.
In partnership with the Barry County Chamber of Commerce, local organizations and businesses are invited to decorate holiday trees within Gilmore Car Museum. Trees are mixed within the displays of vintage vehicles in the main exhibit galleries and each features a unique theme chosen by their sponsor. Distinctive items such as hand-made paper origami ornaments, garland made from recycled books, and natural outdoor items make up just a few of the fantastic trees. Other examples include the use of medical supplies, baby items and gift packages for US Service members.
The Festival of Trees is included with museum regular admission. Guests are encouraged to vote for their favorite tree by placing canned or other a non-perishable food items under their choice. The food items will be distributed to those in need by the Barry County United Way. The museum is also a United Way collection site for new, unwrapped toys.
