Monday, May 27, 2019 - 8:30 am - 9:30 am

On Monday, May 27th the Bloomingdale Public Schools Athletic Department will be hosting its 12th annual Memorial Day 5k road race. The beautiful course begins at Bloomingdale High School and takes you on a scenic route east of town before returning runners along the shade of the Kal-Haven Trail to finish back at the entrance of the high school.

Bring your family and friends to participate in the fun, and help Bloomingdale’s Track and Cross Country teams in their quest to to raise money for new uniforms and  equipment, and to raise awareness about the benefits of physical activity and exercise.

Every runner will receive a medal for completing the race and plaques will be awarded to the top finisher in each age group.

Upon completion of the race, we cordially invite you and your family to join us downtown to enjoy Bloomingdale’s Memorial Day Parade, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

The race course starts at Bloomingdale High School and follows the beautiful, shaded, and flat Kal-Haven Trail.
