The weather outside may be far from frightful, but the holidays have set up shop here at Camp Kidwell! We welcome you to our Winter Wonderland, where you can walk through our decorated wonderland and then “spruce” up your home with one of the 100 pre-decorated trees, wreaths, and decorations available for purchase from our various auctions, purchase a warm meal for your group, attend one of our featured events, and even get a chance to meet the jolliest couple from the north pole, Santa and Mrs. Clause on Dec. 2nd!
ONLINE AUCTION INFO
Nov. 30 @ noon – December 3 @ 5pm
Even if you can’t make out to camp, we have all of our silent auction items featured on an online auction. This give everyone the chance to see the items and place bids. We can deliver items as well. Starting at noon on November 30th, the link to the online auction will be posted on our website for everyone to check out.
Senior Citizen’s Day
November 30 – Noon-9pm
We would like to welcome all of the amazing Senior Citizens in our community. Come as a group, on your own, or bring the grandkids! Church and Senior Center Groups are welcome! Lunch and dinner will be available and you can be the first to see the beautiful “Winter Wonderland!” All ages welcome.
Cookies and Canvas’
November 30 – 8”x11” @ 3pm and 11”X14” @ 6pm
Create and take home a beautiful winter painting on a 11”x14” for $25.00, or 8’’X11’’ for $15.00 canvas. Enjoy snacks, great company and a beautiful holiday atmosphere. Please let us know you will be attending with a phone call or email. Limited numbers, please register early!
December 1 – Noon-9pm – Music starts about 6pm
We open at noon for you to enjoy lunch and browse. Starting at 6pm we will serve a soup and sandwich supper. Again, admission is free, dinner and drinks are available at a reasonable cost. For your listening pleasure we will feature live music by Jeff and Shelia Clearwater.
Cookies w/ Mrs. Claus
December 2 – 10am-3pm
This is a kids and family favorite! So much fun, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be here, you can enjoy all the beautiful items, make some holiday crafts and so much more. Mrs. Claus will be decorating cookies with the kids and Santa will be ready to take your Christmas list and snap a picture.
Dinner at the Lodge
December 2 – Social hour starting at 6pm
Tickets – $50.00 advance purchase $60.00 at the door
An adult only delicious prime rib dinner and live auction of specially selected items. Each ticket includes hors d’oeuvres, dinner and a seat at the live auction. Please RSVP by Nov. 28, 2017 to ensure the discounted tickets.
Brunch and Last Bids
December 3 – 10am-5pm
Brunch (both breakfast and dinner meals) will be served from 10am—2pm, please join us for a hearty meal and to place your final bid!
