he National Wildlife Federation Great American Campout has returned to Ramona Park! Reserve your site today for the whole family spaces are limited. Bring your own tent or let us know if you need one. Check-in and camp set-up will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 with check-out on Sunday, June 23 by 10:30 am. Enjoy a pig roast dinner, S’mores, popcorn and a light breakfast which is all included. Swim at the beach, go on a ranger led hike, make leaf etchings, and enjoy other family friendly activities. To end the evening, we will be showing the original Parent Trap movie outdoors under the stars, Watch the sunrise or enjoy yoga on the beach Sunday morning prior to checkout. Restrooms will be open during this event. Scholarships are available through the Portage Community Center.
