Holiday Open Swim at WMU’s Gabel Natatorium

Western Michigan University’s Gabel Natatorium opens its pool to both the WMU and Kalamazoo community during the weekend. Open swim includes:

  • The Wibit—42′ x 6′ inflatable obstacle course. Please note: Participants can wear lifejackets if needed but parents must go through course with their child if they are wearing a life-jacket.
  • Pool toys—beach balls, foam noodles, diving rings, etc. (toys must stay in shallow end).
  • Diving well*—one meter and three meter high dive springboard diving boards.
  • Lanes for lap swim
  • Lifeguards

All children aged 12 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult. Unsupervised children will not be permitted into the facilities.

$3 WMU students (w/ Bronco ID) Children-12 and under.
$4 Adults (13 yrs. and older)

Under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
