Soaring. Floating. Hovering. More than three fourths of all land animals fly while many plants also use the airstream to move their seeds long distances. Students will learn about different ways animals and plants “fly,” the forces behind their flight, and the many scientific discoveries and inventions they have inspired over the centuries.
