Tuesday, August 20, 2019 - 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
This is a great event to learn about hummingbirds and hopefully see them up close. Brenda and Rich Keith from the Kalamazoo River Valley Bird Observatory (a program of the Kalamazoo Nature Center) will bring their expertise in bird banding to the Sanctuary. Brenda is one of only a few hummingbird banders in Michigan.
A banding demonstration will take place in the Pollinator Garden and inside the Auditorium a slideshow with information on the research and data collected through banding hummingbirds will be shown.
No registration required.
