INFANT MASSAGE FOR PARENTS & CAREGIVERS

This one-session class meets on Saturday, November 11, from 9:00-11:30am.  Infant massage is a great way to improve bonding and communication between babies and their parents/caregivers, and increase confidence in parenting. It can help reduce stress and depression in both babies and parents. Infant massage has been shown to help regulate babies’ sleep cycles. It can also help with gas, colic and digestion.

This class is for parents or primary caregivers and their babies who are at least two weeks old and haven’t started crawling. Twins and triplets are welcomed. Some families (pregnant, adoptive or foster) may choose to learn infant massage on a baby doll, which will be provided in class.

Cost: $40. Medicaid accepted and financial assistance may be available to qualified applicants.
