After more than a year in the North American premier tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies, playing Madame Giry to standing ovations, Broadway star and MAC s 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient Karen Mason is thrilled to be back doing concerts and especially bringing the music of Broadway to Kalamazoo!

In Karen Mason SIMPLY BROADWAY, Mason shares her personal connection to this music! From the music of Sondheim, Kander & Ebb, Jule Styne, Frank Wildhorn, and Sheldon Harnick among others, this show will feature uniquely showstopping numbers, and highlight Mason’s vocal prowess, moving charisma, and overall versatility. Few performers can transfer as seamlessly between, Broadway, recording, concert, and television as Karen Mason. She has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Davenports, Lincoln Center, Feinstein’s 54 Below, Birdland, and The Drury Lane Oakbrook. And now…the Kalamazoo Civic!

Join us for this very special evening with the Broadway star of Sunset Boulevard, The World Goes ‘Round, Mamma Mia, Wonderland and Hairspray.
