The Schoolcraft Firecracker 5-Miler race has been a traditional part of Schoolcraft’s annual 4th of July celebration for many years. After the race, we will give away door prizes, but you must be present to win. Runners who register before June 18 for the 5-mile run will receive a tech shirt. For more information and to stay informed, please like our Facebook page: Schoolcraft Firecracker 5-Miler.
This race is known for its unique distance as well as its FAST and FLAT course. It will be timed by Mac’s Sports Timing for quick and accurate results. You will receive your timing tag and bib number during packet pickup (July 3, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.) or on the morning of race day (July 4, 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.) when you pick up your race packet. NO TIMING TAG, NO TIME. For safety reasons, we must close the course two hours after the race start.
