We are pleased and excited to offer TWO sensory Friendly dates this Fall Season at Gull Meadow Farms. Dates are September 9th and October 14th from 4-7pm. During this time, we welcome individuals and their families to enjoy the farm in a sensory modified setting with fewer crowds, less waiting in line, no music, and no apple cannons. Regular admission rates apply ($9/person, children under 36″ are free). Please note that we will be open to the general public at this time but are going to ask that if they are able to reschedule their trip to the farm, that they do so in order to allow our Sensory Friendly Night guests a less crowded experience.
If you aren’t able to make our special Sensory Friendly Night, weekday nights (Monday-Thursday) are typically less busy than weekends and we would love to have you visit!
Attractions that do make some noise include:
*Apple Cannons (located behind the back forty) – these will not be open during Sensory Friendly Nights on September 9 and October 14
*Grain Train (operated by a tractor in the Back Forty)
*Wagon Rides around the farm (operated by a tractor)
*Pumpkin Lane Train (operated by a riding lawn mower in pumpkin lane
*Jumping Pillow (have blowers that operate the fans to keep them inflated), they aren’t loud, but if your child is sensitive to noises, we would suggest bringing headphones for them to wear
