Come imagine, explore and discover with us, and bring your family with you for this awesome Air Zoo experience! We offer fun hands-on activities the entire family will enjoy during our Family Fun Days. These family days are very popular and the activities are always entertaining and educational. Family Fun Day schedules change with the seasons so keep an eye on our calendar for new dates and info!
Every Saturday during the summer from 11am – 3pm come check out our awesome STEAM hands-on activities.
7/20 – Moon Landing Anniversary – This will be an afternoon of space exploration as we build and launch paper rockets with our 2-liter stomp launcher, create and test bike pump rocket launchers and explore moon craters!
7/27 – Robotics Day – Robots… what else do we need to say? Gull Lake Robotics teams will be at the Air Zoo with climbing robots and Sumo Robot activities. Join us!
8/3 – Recycling Day – Let’s recycle and repuropose together! Come build a recycled rain gauge, make a birdhouse from every-day items, design and create your own useful recycled objects and join in a recycle relay activity!
8/10 – Superhero Day – We will spend the afternoon making superhero masks, rebuild a city (as only superheros can) , experiment with a Van de Graaff Generator and do a little Spiderman bug catching. Come ready to show off your inner superhero (costumes not required but definitely encouraged)!
8/17 – Subzero Day – This is the best place to chill and enjoy a bit of frozen fun (especially in August). We will be experimenting with liquid nitrogen, dry-ice, an O-Ring Cannon, and singing spoons. Not only a chilling good time but pretty fascinating too.
