Celebrating Dad with Local Food and Recently Opened Attractions

Although 2020 is clearly not panning out as expected, our options for celebrating dads this year are growing as more businesses reopen their doors. We can now dine-in at select restaurants and our local takeout options continue to expand.

Gift shops, parks and zoos have also resumed operations, albeit with some restrictions. This good news means additional gift options and places for families to visit on Father’s Day.

We’ve rounded up locally-owned shops and restaurants offering snacks, gift baskets and desserts to celebrate dads on this special day. All of these gifts likely will sell out- be sure to order early.

If you’re not in the market for presents, we have outdoor attractions too. Whether it’s visiting animals, taking a hike or seeing a movie under the stars, we’ve listed lots of fun places to go outside and make memories.

Father’s Day is Sunday, June 21 this year- we wish your family an amazing day of DAD.
