Halloween Candy Galore

Tally up your children’s sweets from their Halloween haul and chances are you’ll have piles of it.

First, secretly ration out a few of your own favorites (ahem, that would be Reese Peanut Butter Cups in this house), then it’s time to figure out what to with it. We love trick-or-treating, but all of that candy in the house is too tempting. There are a number of options for donating the extra Halloween candy or repurposing it.

We’ve rounded up a list of Local dentists who offer candy “Buy Back” programs as well as other programs and ideas on what to do with all of that sugary goodness around the house.

Make sure to drop us a line if you know of another Dentist participating in a buyback program and we’ll add it to the list.

  • Use the candy to fill a piñata for someone who has a fall or winter birthday.
  • Try out different STEM and other science experiments with the candy. Kids will love making candy potion experiments.
