I love seeing and the fun things for the kids to do around town, being a single father is nice to have somewhere to look to find fun things for the kids to do,

I’m with my kids all summer and this site gives great ideas for them. It’s nice to know that there are other activities other than bowling and the zoo around Kalamazoo. We like to try out and see new things and you all have given us great ideas. I always look forward to your postings to see what’s new! Keep up the great work! I’m looking forward to ideas in the fall now!

I love that there is a resource to obtain information about fun & educational places to take my son to. You have provided us with the tools we need to ensure he has an opportunity to grow, learn & socialize with children his age.

I love your events calendar and access it often. It is a little confusing on your website because when you click the drop down for “Calendar”, it appears at first that your only choice is to submit an event. I also love your guides, maybe you could have a drop down under “Guides” with a key word to make accessing the guide you desire quicker. I also noticed that the guide for best area playgrounds was pretty biased toward Portage/suburban parks. This is by far my favorite resource for things to do in the area- thank you so much for all you do to highlight our community and make it easy for parents to access information.

I love being in the know.spending time with my children while they are little is the best thing ever, and your website provides family friendly things we can do. Thank you!

I love the diversity of events. The website covers all age groups, interest, and provides great descriptions for all events. It really helps organize potential plans each weekend for my family. We have a 19 month old and 3 week old so finding new things in the community is key. We are new to the toddler arena and don’t really know what’s available for her to do.

Thank you for all your hard work.

i love the weekend report. We have used it several times. For improvements I’d like to see compilations of things like swim lessons, summer camps etc. you have some but not a full list

You guys do a great job and are a tremendous resource for parents in this community. I love your guides and the calendar especially. One thing that might be improved is just to regularly update those resources as events change, such as the Vacation Bible School guide. So many churches didn’t announce at the beginning of the summer, so were never included in that guide. I’d also love to see more dad- tailored resources. Happy birthday, KzooKids!

  11. Kimberla Jacobs August 29, 2015 at 7:39 am is the first site I visit on weekend mornings. The structure allows our family to see all of the options around us and make decisions based on cost, travel time and interest level of our six year old. I appreciate having everything centralized and easily accessible. Congratulations on your accomplishment!

I love all of the great ideas for kid and family friendly activities! I look at this page everyday to keep me updated on current events in the Kalamazoo area. The page is easy and readily accessible. You are doing a fantastic job! I look forward to reading more updates! Keep up the great work!

I love the events calendar! I also really like your seasonal activity profiles.

I’d be interested in more special needs moms resources and mommy social groups, as well as infant/toddler activity and playgroup info and maybe even local/regional shopping articles and birthday party service provider indexes (bakers, photographers, host facilities, etc). It would be fantastic if people could also rate (maybe on a 1-5 star level) and provide feedback about their experiences at different places and activities… Like doctors, museums, stage productions, etc.
