Plan to attend the 20th Anniversary of Oshtemo Fun Day on Saturday, August 19th for FREE family fun! The event is held at Flesher Field, 3664 South 9th Street south of Stadium Drive in the heart of Oshtemo. This Fun Day runs from 8:00 am to  4:00 pm, rain or shine. There will be a special United States Flag Retirement Ceremony held that morning as well with the public invited to attend this patriotic event.

The Oshtemo Fun Day is FREE admission and parking, handicapped accessible. There is a Pancake Breakfast from 8:00am-11:00 am and a food court from 11:00am-4:00 pm.

Join in on all of the fun – activities for children, vendor booths, music, air show, Oshtemo Fire Dept demonstrations, tethered hot air balloon rides, mascots, police, ambulances, disaster vehicles, pony rides, Critter Barn, medical and dental clinics, eye screenings, child ID fingerprinting, adoptable animals, Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra musical petting zoo, trucks, Kalamazoo Pipe Band and so much more. *Some activities require ticket purchase.

A special United States Flag Retirement Ceremony will be conducted at Flesher Field this year. The community is invited to attend that Saturday morning from 9:00 am – 10:00 am.


Any member of the community is invited to bring a flag that morning for retirement, or members of the community who cannot be in attendance are invited to drop off flags to be retired.  The following Oshtemo businesses have agreed to be drop off points:  Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 3926 South 9th St., Oshtemo Pharmacy, 635 N. 9th St. or Oshtemo Township 7275 West Main St.

Oshtemo Fun Day is hosted by Oshtemo Rotary, proceeds go to support local and international causes.  A community event for all!  For more information please go to:
