Santa Claus is coming to towns across SW Michigan. Parents have a host of options to take their kiddos to see the Jolly man with the beard!

We’ve prepared a HUGE listing of where you can spot Santa in and around the Kalamazoo area this holiday season. So get out there and get into the holiday spirit. Enjoy all of the fun things this season with your family!

Located at the Crossroads Mall in Portage from November 14- December 24, check with mall for hours

Christmas Around Town

Located in Downtown Three Rivers, Three Rivers on November 27- 29

What you’ll find: 

  • November 27-Tree lighting ceremony, caroling, a book reading, and free hot chocolate
  • November 28 & 28-Santa’s workshop, reindeer, hot chocolate, popcorn, horse drawn carriage rides

Santa’s schedule: 

  • Santa Claus will be available for children between 12:00 pm and 4:00 p.m on November 28 & 29 at the Riviera Theatre. Free photos.

Santa’s Workshop

Located in Downtown Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo on November 28-December 24 (see schedule below)

What you’ll find:

  • Pictures with Santa, make art projects, and write letters to Santa

  • November 28 Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • December 4 through December 19 Fridays from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm & Saturdays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm & Sundays from noon to 4:00 pm

2015 Holiday Husky Extravaganza

Located at the Tractor Supply Company in Battle Creek on November 28 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Galesburg Winter Wonderland

Located in Downtown Galesburg, Galesburg on December 2 

What you’ll find:

  • Free hot dogs, lighted parade, horse and wagon rides, fireworks after the parade

Festival of Trees at 4-H Camp Kidwell

Located at 4-H Camp Kidwell, Bloomingdale from December 3-6

  • Decorated trees and wreathes, a visit w/ Santa, make cookies w/ Mrs. Claus and have a meal with family and friends

2015 Traditional Holiday

Located at City of Portage in Portage on December 5 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

  • Tree lighting ceremony, carolers, refreshments available for purchase, donations accepted for Portage Community Center

Santa’s schedule: 

  •  Following the tree lighting ceremony, Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet visitors at the historic schoolhouse

The Holiday Express

Located at Little River Railroad in Coldwater, December 5 – 13, note tickets are selling out quickly

  • Hot chocolate and cookies at the station, take a train ride with Santa

Swim With Santa

Located at the YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo in Kalamazoo on December 11 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

  • Swimming, visit from Santa, giveaways, toy donations accepted for families in need

Candy Cane Hunt

Located at Hicks Park in Plainwell on December 12 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Of Christmas Past

Located at Historic Charlton Park in Hastings on December 12 & 13
