Fall fun is in full swing at Stokes Homestead Farm Market with apple picking, pumpkins, Halloween festivities and the Fun Farm Yard sure to entertain the entire family. Plus, check out the details below on a ticket giveaway to the upcoming Fall Festival!

Apples galore, fresh fried apple crisp donuts and local apple cider are just a few of the treats featured on the Stokes family farm.

Families can spend the day u-picking from a variety of apples including some of the most popular tasting – Honeycrisp, Golden Delicious and Jonagold. Have the kids stop by the pumpkin patch and let them choose their most perfect pumpkin! We have all kinds of sizes, shapes and colors of pumpkins!

Hazel’s Cafe and Bakery features delicious fall treats – caramel apples, apple and pumpkin donuts, apple cider slushies, and a variety of fall-inspired pies.

Fun Farm Yard

The new addition this year to the fun farm yard is a hit with the whole family: visit bunnies, donkeys, and chickens! Kids love spending time with our farm animals!
Stop by the playground and let the kids run wild in the corn crib, tire climb, and pedal cart track. The cow train rides are open for kids and adults every day too! Make sure not to miss the huge outdoor jump pad, duck races, and wagon rides!

Mark your calendars for the annual Fall Festival on October 14th-15th. Here are a few of the activities in store:

  • FREE arts-and-crafts fair (all day event with local artists & crafters displaying their works of art)
  • Trick-or-treating on the farm
  • Pumpkin-painting / pumpkin-bowling
  • Wagon rides through the apple orchard and pumpkin patch
  • Halloween Magic Show
  • U-pick apples

Shadow Hallow Haunt

The one-of-a-kind haunted trail, Shadow Hallow Haunt, will kick-off the last weekend in September, running each weekend in October. It’s a half-hour live action haunted ride through the trail and apple orchard, featuring 20 or more haunted characters. Step aboard the wagon and take a ride back to the 1800’s and explore an old insane asylum where tortured patients still haunt the grounds. Beware… some of the patients like to come aboard the wagon and try to take you with them! (NOTE: Shadow Hollow Haunt is not suitable for younger children)

FREE apple cider & donut for every person who dares to purchase a ticket to enter Shadow Hollow Haunt!
