Do you have a kiddo that loves trucks and other vehicles? Or has your kiddo ever wanted to get up close to some of their favorite trucks that they see in the community? If the answer if “YES”, then you won’t want to miss the Touch-A-Truck Event on May 9 at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center & Fairgrounds. We’ve attended the event every year and my 6-year old loves having the opportunity to check out all of the trucks!

4th Annual Touch-A-Truck Event

Enjoy a hands‐on opportunity! See, learn about, and explore an assortment of unique vehicles like fire trucks, police cars, garbage trucks and heavy machinery. With close to 40 vehicles, there is certain to be something for everyone! Come meet the people who build, protect, and serve our community in these vehicles.

Visit the Kids in the Kitchen station to learn about healthy eating and fun physical activities. Enjoy the Activity & Coloring FunBook, Arts & Craft Project, & Bounceland.

More Information About the Junior League

The Junior League of Kalamazoo recently celebrated 30 years of working to build a better community by focusing its volunteer and financial resources on the health, education and well-being of women and children.

Prior to joining the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI) in 1980, the organization was known as the Service Club of Kalamazoo. The Service Club was founded in 1928 with a charter membership of 22 women. Its objective was “to cheerfully render such services of the economic, educational and civic conditions as the executive committee shall deem fit.”
