Battle Creek Christmas Parade |  November 21 at 5:45 pm | Downtown Battle Creek

  • The Battle Creek Christmas Parade takes place in downtown Battle Creek every year to kick off the holiday season! Watch local organizations march in the parade and stay until the end to get a glimpse of Santa. FREE.


Grand Rapids Christmas Parade | November 21 at 9:00 am | Downtown Grand Rapids

  • Downtown Grand Rapids will be filled the sweet sounds of local marching bands, carolers, and local performers. Thousands of parade-goers will be watching as the Parade makes its way down the streets of Grand Rapids. FREE.


Texas Township Holiday Farmers’ Market & Tree-Lighting | November 21  from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Tree Lighting at 6:30 pm

  • Get “Fresh on Q!” this holiday season with our annual Holiday Market, featuring local, seasonal fruits and vegetables, meats, baked goods, jams and jellies, prepared foods, holiday trees and wreaths and much more from 30 market vendors.
  • The Farmers’ Market Committee will be offering complimentary coffee, cider and hot cocoa to spread holiday cheer, with holiday music and a Tree-Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 p.m.


Kalamazoo Singers Christmas: Our Gift to You | November 22 at 3:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church

  • Sesonal choral favorites performed in the majestic space of the First United Methodist Church. See listing for ticket information.

Owl Prowl | November 20 at 6:00 pm at the W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary

  • A fun nighttime walk to listen to the sounds of the Sanctuary. Along the way we will call for owls. The Sanctuary’s ambassador Great Horned Owl will make an appearance at the beginning of the program. Admission is Adults $5, Seniors/Students $4, Kids (ages 2-17) $3  & Non-members: Adults $7, Seniors/Students $6, Kids (ages 2-17) $5


Woodland Exploration | November 21 at 2:00 pm at the Kalamazoo Nature Center

  • Join our exhibits staff on a search for out- of-the-ordinary things in the woods. Use all your senses to experience a walk in the woods in a wild new way. Admission For Members: Free Adults: $7/Seniors $6 Children & Students (4-17) $4 Children 3 & Under: Free. Programs is free to members.
