*As always, please see individual listings for information on pricing, venue location, and additional information on the event.

For this weekend consider…

Art Hop on Friday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm (some times vary) in Kalamazoo at various locations. Click here for February Art Hop brochure. Enjoy a free night of art exhibits and events on the first Friday of every month. Families will enjoy exploring downtown Kalamazoo and appreciating the great art on display. This event is a fun, interactive event for people of all backgrounds – no art experience is required to enjoy the exhibits! Free.

Join the fun at Star Wars Night with the Kalamazoo Wings on Friday, February 3 at 7:00 pm. The force is strong with the Kalamazoo Wings during this annual installment that features a specialty jersey for Kalamazoo. Fans can bid on the Wings’ jerseys live after the contest with proceeds benefiting United Way of Kalamazoo. The first 1,000 fans through the doors will receive a Kalamazoo Wings light saber. Winter Snow Party in Portage on Saturday, February 4 at 12:00 pm at Oakland Drive Park in Portage. This is a great event to spend time with your family building a snowman and going sledding. Prizes will be awarded for the best snowman and cardboard sled built! So make sure you bring your creative artistic skills with you. Afterward, sit by their bonfire and drink some warm hot cocoa or coffee to purchase. Free.

Downtown fills up with beautiful ice sculptures for you and your family to awe at. Watch professionals, amateurs, and students create their works of art on ice. Take the time to stroll downtown in a horse-drawn wagon ride, shop their awesome downtown stores and take your little ones ice skating or even curling.
