Fall is in the air! Time to enjoy the bounty of the fall season. It’s going to be another busy weekend for fall family fun. This is the BUSIEST weekend of the fall season for festivals around SW Michigan.

  • Grand Rapids Art Prize running September 21- October 9 at various locations throughout greater Grand Rapids. You won’t want to miss this world class FREE art show in Grand Rapids. Tons of art to view around Grand Rapids. One of the biggest art contents in the country. Stay tuned for our family-friendly Art Prize Guide coming out soon.
  • Fall Festival in St. Joseph on September 23-24 in downtown St. Joseph. Join the fun in St. Joseph for their fall festival. Activities include The Great Bed Race, Day on the Farm, farmers market, petting zoo, live music, art auction, and more.
  • Apple Fest! 2016 on September 24 at VerHage Fruit Farm & Cider Mill, 8619 W ML, Kalamazoo. Activities include arts, crafts & vendor show, and entertainment.
  • Fall Harvest and Tractor Show on September 23-25 at Historic Charlton Park, 2545 S Charlton Park Rd, Hastings. Step back in time with a visit to Historic Charlton Park’s special event. Activities include experiencing first-hand the fall harvest techniques and activities from the early-to-mid 1900s.

  • Scarecrows & Pumpkins on September 24 at Leila Arboretum, 928 West Michigan Avenue, Battle Creek. Make your very own scarecrow and take home a pumpkin as you will learn about the fall harvest! This is also a FREE DAY at Kingman Museum.
  • Harvest Fest on September 25 at the Vicksburg Historical Village, 300 North Richardson, Vicksburg. Activities include hay rides, Model A car rides, vendors, food booths, storytelling, a scavenger hunt, saw mill demonstration, petting zoo and more.

  • DeLano Farms Fall Fest on September 25 at the Kalamazoo Nature Center’s DeLano Farms, 555 West E Ave., Kalamazoo. Explore the homestead, witness blacksmiths in action, experience pioneer activities, take a horse-drawn wagon ride (weather permitting), games and activities for the whole family. New this year…browse and shop creative artisan booths with products that stand the test of time.
