Holidays at the Homestead

Sunday, December 1 from 1-4 pm at the Delano Homestead in Kalamazoo

  • Bring your family to the beautifully decorated DeLano Homestead to step back in time. Join in the celebration as you explore the 1858 farmhouse and enjoy holiday traditions! Make gingerbread cookies and crafts, listen to acoustic music while relaxing in the parlor, watch skilled spinners, weavers, and blacksmiths demonstrate their craft and learn about natural products they use and more!

Hats Off to Grinch Day Storytime

Sunday, December 1 at Barnes and Nobles in Portage

  • Join us for a reading of the Dr. Seuss classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, followed by Grinch-themed activities and holiday goodies. This event kicks off 25 Days of Grinch-Mas, a campaign to encourage kids to do one good deed each day.

The Holly Jolly Trolly

Saturday, November 30 from 11 am to 10pm and Sunday, December 1 from 12pm to 5 pm

  • The Holly Jolly Trolley is a wonderful way to take in the holiday decorations and lights while getting around downtown. To ride, just wait by one of the stops as shown on the map. To help you plan, it leaves Bronson Park at the top and bottom of every hour. It’s free!

W.K. Kellogg Manor Holiday Walk & Market

Friday and Saturday, November 29 and November 30 from 12 pm to 5 pm in Hickory Corners, MI

  • The holidays are a special time of the year at the Manor House. Each room of the Manor House is creatively decorated by area businesses, designers, and staff with one-of-a-kind gifts for purchase.
  • A tour of the house not only provides the history of the house and W.K. Kellogg, but also many ideas for your own holiday decorating. Hot spiced tea and cookies conclude each tour.
