Sunday, October 30- Annual Halloween Orange Ice night, Presented by Meijer– Help your kids get a head start on their trick-or-treating at the annual Orange Ice game. The Meijer food truck will be on site for cider and donuts, while Wings Event Center will have the spookiest haunted house in town, open all night for fans to enjoy for free!

Sunday, December 18- Teddy Bear Toss, presented by Bronson Hospital- During the season of giving, the Wings will once again host their annual Teddy Bear Toss game. Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to send flying onto the ice when Kalamazoo scores their first goal of the game. All collected toys will be donated to the Bronson Children’s Hospital to help spread some holiday cheer to those in need.


Sunday, January 15- Double Dare night- They’re rolling it back to the ‘90s at Wings Event Center with your favorite classic Nickelodeon shows, as the Kalamazoo Wings entertain the Wheeling Nailers with a 3 p.m. start time. A great game to bring the kids to, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will go home with a Kalamazoo Wings jersey themed lunchbox.

Sunday, January 22- Nemo and Dory night- Are you and your kids more of a clown fish like Nemo or a forgetful tang fish like Dory? Either way, this game is for you!


Sunday, January 29- Kids Paint the Ice/Slappy’s Birthday Party- Area fans will be invited to turn the ice at Wings Event Center into the region’s largest work of art ahead of the Wings game vs. Wheeling. Slappy will also be celebrating his birthday with some of his best mascot friends from around town. The first 1,000 kids in attendance will receive a Slappy bank.

Sunday, February 12- Superhero day- Fans of all ages are encouraged to dress up and pay tribute to their favorite superheroes. Whether you’re a fan of Spiderman, Deadpool, or anyone in between, this game is one you’re sure to enjoy.



Sunday, February 26- Pucks and Paws night- Bring the whole family out to this one, including the dog! It’s the one game of the year when your furry, four-legged family member can sit next to you and take in a hockey game. Those who bring their pooches to the game will leave with a bag of goodies, courtesy of SPORTMiX.

Sunday, March 5- We Are Kalamazoo, presented by Kalamazoo Strong- After last year’s success in raising approximately $60k in the wake of the February 20 shootings in Kalamazoo, the Wings will make their “We Are Kalamazoo” game an annual installment. The game will be used as a fundraising effort for the Kalamazoo Strong organization, which was established to provide relief to the community and families of those affected by local tragedies, such as the shootings and the June cycling accident.
