Why Choose FBR Child Development Centers? Trusted Partners in your Child’s Education and Development

Choosing FBR Child Development Centers for Your Family

Whether it’s your first child or your fourth, finding the best childcare provider for your family can leave you feeling overwhelmed and anxious.

As parents, some of the hardest decisions lie within finding the right providers for our children. Which dentist will make teeth cleaning fun? Which pediatrician’s office will make immunizations less scary?

At the top of the list for many is selecting a childcare provider. Who can you trust to meet the emotional, social and educational needs of your child when you aren’t there?

FBR (Foundation for Behavioral Resources) Child Development Centers work with parents to nurture the development of enthusiasm, confidence and early life skills that are necessary for each child’s success.

A long-standing resource in Kalamazoo with over 40 years of expertise, the CDC has grown to six locations, partnering with local families in both Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties.

From Bibs to Backpacks: A Complete Level of Care – Infants through 12 Years

Child Development Centers meet many families’ needs through their programs: childcare, preschool, and before and after school care are all covered. This large age range provides an educational partner that will create a long term relationship with your family as your child grows.

The CDC utilizes the Creative Curriculum –  this program allows children to learn through play and intentional experiences.

Infants & Toddlers

Infants and toddlers learn and play in a nurturing and safe environment at the CDC. All families are provided with a written record of all developmental milestones.

Preschool

All Child Development Centers offer 3 and 4-year-old preschool and pre-k programs.  All preschool programs offer both full time and part-time options.

CDC’s preschool is a Michigan Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP). Read more about GSRP and apply here.

Children that attend the Child Development Center early learning programs, develop a critical foundation for successful learning through positive relationships with adults. The environment is set up to provide a constructive, purposeful play experience which is essential for learning.

Through positive teacher-family partnerships that promote development and learning, the Child Development Center is committed to the success of every child.
