Let the Civic Cast of Matilda – The Musical Transport you “to New Worlds”

Matilda is discarded and belittled by her dimwitted parents and her headmistress, the outrageous and wicked Miss Trunchbull. Against all odds, Matilda finds her happy ending with a bit of mischief and encouragement from her loving teacher Miss Honey.

Based on the inspirational classic tale of Roald Dahl’s Matilda, The Kalamazoo Civic Theatre presents this award-winning musical adaptation.

The magic is fused by a playbook written by Dennis Kelly and music/lyrics by the famous Australian composer Tim Minchin coupled with the literary genius of Roald Dahl.

This musical adaptation is the winner of 50 international awards including four Tony Awards. Matilda is a fun family musical that will bring out the child in everyone.

(Left to Right, Lily, Marissa and Chloe will be playing Matilda in alternating performances in the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre production of ‘Matilda the Musical’)
