All for One and One for All Will Love The Three Musketeers

I admit it. Sometimes I worry that my children will think live theatre is dull. After all the lights and flash of animated TV, how could live theatre keep their attention? Enter Ken Ludwig’s The Three Musketeers.

Heroism. Treachery. Escapes. Revenge. Adventure. Honor. Sword Fights. Paris. Period costumes.

Ken Ludwig’s The Three Musketeers has a little bit of everything and is sure to entertain with its high energy tale.

Venue Magazine said this production was “In short, about as much fun as you would expect, and then a little more” and the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre wants to help one lucky reader experience the fun by winning a 5-pack of tickets to see The Three Musketeers at the Parish Theatre this fall.

Non-stop Action Awaits in this Swashbuckling Tale

Based on the classic tale by Alexandre Dumas, the story of The Three Musketeers is set in 1625 and begins with D’Artagnan setting off for Paris in search of adventure. D’Artagnan is quickly joined by fan-loved Sabine, his sister, and a quintessential tomboy. Together, they are sent to attend a convent school in Paris where Sabine poses as a young man and the pair have quite the adventure.

Part of the Civic Youth Theatre Play series, The Three Musketeers production offers the perfect introduction to theatre for young patrons.

Productions are cast by local students and often have sets created by area youth. Not only will your child love watching this production, you’ll know the children who are on and behind the stage had an amazing experience creating the production as well.
