Kalamazoo Staycation Guide to Spring Break Activities for Kids: Camps, Open Gyms, Road Trips + Special Events

Spring Break Activities

Kalamazoo Families, Plan Your Spring Break Activities – 2023

When Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this year, I found myself hoping the woodland creature made a mistake.

And while our winter has been pretty mild this season (minus a holiday blizzard and late ice storm), I don’t see the need to extend it an additional six weeks.

Although we haven’t had much snow, we have missed something very important in our skies: THE SUN. Irrespective of the temperature, a sunny day makes any day brighter for me.

We are hoping for sunshine-filled days in Kalamazoo for spring break in 2023. Find activities, camps, special events and day trips all inside this guide to an awesome staycation in SWMI.

Many area schools start spring break on March 24 and return to school on Monday, April 3, 2023.
