FREE AZO Air Fair Lands in Kalamazoo September 20
Does your family love airplanes, games, and hands-on activities?
Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 20, 2025, as the AZO Air Fair returns to the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport for a FREE, family-friendly aviation celebration open to the entire community!
Organizers expect around 500 visitors to this year’s event, which will feature interactive fun, food trucks, aviation education, and the Wings & Wheels Showcase.

What is the Air Fair?
The AZO Air Fair is a FREE community event celebrating aviation through educational exhibits, interactive experiences, and fun for all ages.
Hosted by the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport, this day inspires young minds, celebrates flight, and engages families with hands-on activities.
Whether you’re an airplane enthusiast or just looking for something new and exciting to do with the kids, this event has something for everyone.
Air Fair Dates & Times

Air Fair Activities
Start the day by checking in at the welcome tent. Then, get your “passport” for the more than 20 activities and stamp it at each station.
You can show your passport at the end (or once you’ve finished) to receive a prize!
Scheduled activities include:
- Aircraft static displays
- Rubber band airplane crafting & racing
- Build-your-own toy parachute (and drop it from the air stairs!)
- Face painting
- Paint-a-Plow station
- Yard games
- Bracelet making
- Preflight aircraft inspections
- F-16 cockpit experience
- Airplane coloring sheets
Wing and Wheels Showcase
One of the highlights of the AZO Air Fair is the Wings & Wheels Showcase, where guests can get up close to various aircraft and vehicles.
Expect to see:
- Civilian aircraft
- Service and utility vehicles
- Community aviation partners and displays
It’s an excellent opportunity for kids (and adults!) to see how planes work and meet some professionals who keep them flying.
