One of Kalamazoo area families’ favorite Christmas events takes place in Richland, at Gull Meadow Farms.
Known for their fall activities and sunflower festival, Gull Meadow has also become a Christmas destination with their Walk Through the Lights and Santa visits.
Walk Through the Lights has become a holiday tradition for many families. Pre-purchasing tickets will guarantee entry on the date of your choosing.

What to Expect When you Walk Through the Lights
Walk Through the Lights invites families to Gull Meadow’s greenhouses, decked out in seasonal decor and full of photo ops and fun.
Part of the experience takes you outside for more light displays and a pixel light show, choreographed to music. If you’ve visited before, expect some fun new additions to the light show in 2024.
After your light walk experience, be sure to shop the market and enjoy some s’mores outside.
PS: They now have heated public restrooms too!
Bonus Activity: Goat Visits
Gull Meadow Farm’s goats like to celebrate Christmas too!
Guests are invited to visit the goats and pet them. Goat feed is available for an additional fee.

Gull Meadow Farms’ Walk Through the Lights has some special events planned for 2024:
Holiday Lights with a Hint of Whoville
NEW for 2024: As you walk through the lights, part of your experience will be an interactive experience with the green guy himself!
Note: This is not a character meet-and-greet: he will be performing and interacting with guests on these special evenings.
Dates: December 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19
Senior Night: Stroll Through the Lights
Returning for 2024, this event welcomes guests with mobility limitations who may not be able to keep pace with guests on busier nights.
Bonus: Sweet Adeline’s choir to perform throughout the night. Admission for this night is available IN PERSON ONLY.

Note: Walk Through the Lights is offered in heated greenhouses, however, there is an outdoor portion to the experience that guests can bypass if they choose. The indoor sections are wheelchair and walker friendly. However, the outdoor portion is a gravel walkway.
