Walk Through the Lights

Gull Meadow Farms Christmas Lights: The Walk Through the Lights event takes your family through a colorful experience where you walk through multiple greenhouses all decked out with different Christmas themes. Lights are best viewed when the sun begins setting, but the experience is open during the daytime if that works better for your schedule. On an overcast day, you can see them all inside the greenhouses.

Plan on 25-45 minutes for walk through the lights. If you are also scheduled to visit Santa, plan your trip accordingly.

Tickets need to be pre-purchased to guarantee entry.

When you come, you’ll enter one of the larger greenhouses and check in with your tickets.

After that, you start your journey by viewing different wire-framed Christmas light displays and photo-op spots (perfect for Christmas cards).

Next, walk through a greenhouse filled with over 40+ Christmas inflatables, followed by a visit with their goat or a warm up by the fire.

Other themed greenhouses include:

  • a Classic Christmas greenhouse filled with beautiful white lights, vintage sleigh, and Christmas Village.
  • a greenhouse with lights choreographed to music. You can wander through and watch as the lights dance to 2 different songs.
  • travel through another greenhouse to finish your journey and will walk through a tunnel of lights to exit

Admission is $8/person (children UNDER 36″ are free). The first 4 dates (November 28, 29 and December 2 and 3) are discounted at $6/person (children under 36″ are free). Each person needs a ticket. Tickets are NON-refundable so be sure that you purchase the date/time that works for your schedule.

Walk Through the Lights is open during all business hours Wednesdays – Sundays beginning November 28th – December 20, 2020.

Guests walking through the lights inside the greenhouses will be required to wear a mask and will be asked to socially distance with those who are not in their group.

Visits with Santa

Gull Meadow Farms has been working hard to make sure that Santa is able to visit his friends (young and old) at the farm this season. With that in mind, they have created a socially distanced experience to keep Santa safe as well as his guests. That’s what you’ll find this year with Visits with Santa.

Guests are asked to reserve their Santa visit time. Reservations are $5 per immediate family. As always, you will be able to take as many pictures as you’d like, and if you are comfortable, a staff member would be happy to take a family photo of you as well.

There will also be non-touch fun options and photo ops for you to enjoy as you wait to visit Santa. You should not have to wait more than 15-20 minutes to see Santa before the next group arrives.

DEAR Santa

DEAR Santa is a special Gull Meadow Farms event where participating children make reindeer food, mail their letter to Santa, and receiving a letter back in the mail from him a few days later. Dear Santa is only offered for three dates this year: November 28, 29, and December 5, 2020

The Dear Santa event also includes a daytime walk through the lights and a visit with Santa.

At the event, each participating child will receive a bag with all the supplies they will need for the event.

You will then help your child create a bag of special Reindeer Food to leave out on Christmas Eve, mail a letter they’ve written to Santa (letters will need be done at home and brought to the farm) with their special North Pole stamp and envelope provided in your bag for you, and receive an ornament to create at home (with a QR code for an instructional “how-to”).

After completing all of your stations, your child will then get to spend some special time with Gull Meadow Farms’ amazing Santa. Santa also has a special treat for your child to take home.

From there, you will have the option to enjoy the Walk Through the Lights experience if you choose. While it won’t be dark, you are welcome to walk through and see all of the different displays.

If you’d like, the farm’s friendly goats will be available for you to visit. You will also receive a donut/hot chocolate voucher when you arrive to use on the day of your visit or for another time.

The magic doesn’t stop there, though. A few days after your child mails their letter to Santa (at the farm in our special North Pole mailbox,) they will receive a personalized letter back to them in the mail from Santa!

Cost for this event:
Children: $15 – this includes, reindeer food, an envelope with special postage to the North Pole station (letters must be completed before arriving at the farm), letter written back to the child from Santa, a DIY ornament to be completed at home, donut and hot chocolate voucher, Santa visit, treat from Santa, and light displays in greenhouses.

Adults or nonparticipating children (older/younger siblings): $7 includes donut and hot chocolate voucher, Christmas light displays in the greenhouse, you will also fill out a special questionnaire ahead of time to help us with special details to include in your child’s letter from Santa to make it extra special

You MUST have a ticket to attend this event.

You are asked to wear a mask when attending this event. Masks may be removed to chat with Santa as well as photos if you are comfortable doing so as your visit with Santa will be at more than 6 feet of distance.
