A number of indoor pools in the Kalamazoo area offer open swim times.
These fun spots offer more than just chlorinated water; many include inflatable obstacle courses, slides, diving boards and pool toys.

1 – Allegan Aquatic Center
1560 M-40 North, Allegan, MI 49010
Drive time: 30 minutes
The Allegan Aquatic Center offers a large pool with diving boards and an obstacle course. The warm water zero-entry leisure pool has a slide, lazy river, fountains, and 10 yard lap pool.
The Aquatic Center currently offers Tot Spot Open Swim for children five and under. Pre-registration is required for the kid(s) and the adult caregiver.

2 – Beacon Health & Fitness
501 S Health Parkway, Three Rivers, MI 49093
Drive time: 35 minutes
The HealthTRAC Pool at Beacon Health & Fitness open swim allows for both lap swim and swimming in the rest of the pool.
With open swim times during the week (morning and evening hours) and on the weekends, this pool offers flexible options for families.
Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
3 – Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Waterpark
6569 Clay Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49548
Drive time: 50 minutes
Large pool, whirlpool, toddler activity pool and splash pad. Day passes available Monday – Thursday, subject to availability.

4 – Holland Community Aquatic Center
550 Maple Ave, Holland, MI 49423
Drive time: 60 minutes
The Holland Community Aquatic Center just reopened after a major renovation. The indoor waterpark facility is now home to a zero-entry water playground, lazy river and water-slide.
The zero-entry water playground will keep your younger kids entertained for hours. Home to dumping buckets, small water-slides, sprayers, and small bubblers kids will love playing in this space designed just for them. Open during Preschool Swim and Family Swim.
The water-slide is three stories tall and 150 feet long and is perfect for the older kids in your crew. This feature is open during Family Swim times.
The Holland Aquatic Center offers single visit passes that permit entry to the Family Splash Time, Preschool Splash Time, regular lap swim, fitness center, and the track. Find the current schedule here.

5 – Kalamazoo Athletic Club
100 W Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49007
The Kalamazoo Athletic Club, located in the lower level of the Radisson Plaza Hotel, offers a five-day pass to use the gym facilities and pool.

6 – Dr. Robert W. Browne Aquatic Center
250 Western Ave, Coldwater, MI 49036
Drive time: 60 minutes
Located south of Battle Creek, this indoor pool is within 60 minutes of Kalamazoo. This aquatic center offers a 25 yard competitive pool and therapy pool.
Throughout the week, the public is able to visit during open swim times. Pre-registration is required.
If visiting on a warmer day, there is a fabulous splash pad and playground located at Heritage Park just outside of the main entrance.
