Meat, Eggs, Milk, and Produce Can Be Hard to Find in Kalamazoo

Getting groceries isn’t the same.  Many people are looking for alternatives to the big box stores and turning to local sources instead.

Finding a local source can be a little tricky, so that’s why we started this list of Kalamazoo area farms and outlets carrying local (for the most part) produce, meat, and dairy items.

Farms are another great alternative to purchase produce, eggs, dairy products, and meat. While some of these farmers may not be in your backyard, their distribution points likely are. Nearly all of these have deliveries or CSA (community-supported agriculture) local pickup sites in Kalamazoo. Many of these farms participate in local farmers markets as well.
