It’s the Annual Petting Zoo at Wedel’s! Bring the family to Wedel’s from September 26 to 27, 2025, for farm animals, activities and food.

Get Up Close with Friendly Farm Animals
Wedel’s is bringing the farm to you! Pet donkeys, pigs, a mini horse, goats, alpacas, a lamb, rabbits and many more.
Animals will visit from Open Arms Mobile Petting Farm and Rabbit Angels Rabbit Rescue.
Activities & Food
Kiddos will be all smiles as they slide into the giant corn bin and jump in the bouncy house.

Wedel’s Pumpkin Party is an annual tradition at the garden center, inviting families to decorate pumpkins and enjoy fall-themed activities.

Create-a-Pumpkin Station
Wedel’s annual Create-a-Pumpkin Station invites visitors to decorate a pumpkin in their greenhouse.
You can also try a mod-podge pumpkin with glued-on sedum, dried grasses, pods and leaves.
Price range is typically $4 – $18. Prices vary depending on the supplies used and the pumpkin size.
Scarecrow Stuffing
Bring child-sized clothing (or adult-sized) to be stuffed with the straw provided, a burlap bag for the head, and stakes.
Staff will help you assemble your scarecrow.
